The County is regularly affected by state and federal legislation and regulations. We work closely with the County Executive’s Office of Intergovernmental Relations to analyze, comment, and advocate for or against pending legislation. And, we identify recommended changes in the law for the County to sponsor. We also speak up on issues that affect the County, county residents, or both, by filing public comments on federal and state regulations.
