Overview
Robin M. Wall joined the Office of the County Counsel in 2020, where he helps lead the Office’s Civil Rights, Torts, and Employment Litigation Team. Robin represents the County and its employees in civil litigation in state and federal court. Prior to joining the Office, Robin was an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of California, where he represented the federal government and its employees in a variety of civil matters, including high-profile tort and Freedom of Information Act cases. While with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Robin served as the Civil Appellate Chief and as a Public Information Officer. Prior to his federal public service, Robin represented clients in high-stakes commercial litigation. Since joining the Office, Robin has taught first-year law students at Stanford Law School as a Lecturer at Law. Robin’s professional expertise includes appellate litigation, civil litigation, employment litigation, complex commercial litigation, securities litigation, and corporate governance.
