Overview
Ravi Rajendra joined the Office of the County Counsel in 2018. He is a member of the Office’s Education Law Team and Social Justice and Impact Litigation Team. In addition, he advises the Office of Labor Standards Enforcement, the Office of Immigrant Relations, the Juvenile Justice Commission, and FIRST 5 Santa Clara County on a variety of issues.
Before he joined the Office, Ravi represented and advised labor unions, low-wage workers, and non-profit organizations at Altshuler Berzon LLP, a public interest law firm in San Francisco. Before that, Ravi represented labor unions, union-affiliated employee benefit funds, and related entities at Bredhoff & Kaiser, PLLC, in Washington, DC. In these positions, Ravi worked on affirmative litigation, including in class actions, arbitration, and adjudication before administrative agencies; legislative drafting and policy development; public advocacy campaigns; and ongoing advice matters. Ravi’s professional expertise includes affirmative litigation, labor & employment law, administrative law, ethics and conflicts issues, and legislative drafting.
