Nicole Collins joined the Office of the County Counsel in 2023 and is a member of the Environment and Land Use and Community Protection Teams. Before joining the Office, Nicole represented environmental organizations, labor unions, and individual workers at Altshuler Berzon LLP, a public interest law firm in San Francisco. Nicole previously served as a law clerk to Judge Mary H. Murguia on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Nicole’s professional expertise includes environmental law, administrative law, civil and complex litigation, and appellate litigation.
