Kim Warsaw joined the Office’s Child and Family Protection Team in 1996. She has successfully handled hundreds of resolution calendars and trials for the County’s Department of Family and Children’s Services in child abuse and neglect cases. She also works with the Department regarding Child Abuse Central Index (CACI) issues and handles CACI grievance hearings, and she previously served as the attorney specialist for the Department’s Emergency Response and Dependency Investigation bureaus. Kim has trained social workers, medical providers, community partners, and statewide county counsel child dependency attorneys regarding child welfare law. She also served on the Green Book Project for Effective Intervention in Domestic Violence and Child Maltreatment Cases.
