Overview
Hannah Godbey joined the Office of the County Counsel in 2022 and works on the Social Justice and Impact Litigation Team, in which her practice focuses on affirmative litigation and policy work designed to advance social and economic justice. She is also a member of the Public Safety and Justice Team. Before joining the Office, Hannah served as a law clerk to Judge Marsha Berzon of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and to Justice Goodwin Liu of the California Supreme Court. Hannah’s professional expertise includes appellate litigation, affirmative litigation, civil rights litigation, workers’ rights, and disability law.
