Nicole Pifari joined the Office of the County Counsel in 2025. As a member of the Civil Rights, Tort, and Employment Litigation Team, she represents the County and its employees in civil litigation in state and federal court.
Prior to joining the Office of the County Counsel, Nicole was a partner at Rains Lucia Stern St. Phalle & Silver, where she worked in defense of law enforcement officers across California in administrative discipline cases and criminal trials. Nicole has an impressive track record as a trial attorney with jury trial experience in both state and federal court.
