Joshua Walden joined the Office of the County Counsel in 2024 and is a member of the Finance, Government Operations, and Technology Team. Before joining the Office, Joshua practiced civil litigation in federal and state courts, including maintaining an active pro bono practice in the areas of civil rights, immigrants’ rights, and LGBTQ+ protections. His article “A Right to Gather Evidence: Interpreting Statutory Protections for Detained Immigrants Facing Removal Hearings” was published in the Stanford Law and Policy Review.
