Ekta Dharia

Ekta Dharia joined the Office of the County Counsel in 2025.  She is a member of the Environment and Land Use Team.  Prior to joining the Office, Ekta was an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of California and the Eastern District of New York, where she represented the federal government in a variety of affirmative and defensive civil matters.  Ekta also practiced commercial litigation in the private sector, and served as a law clerk to the Honorable William F. Kuntz, II on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
